How to Download MP3 Files on a Motorola RAZR

While many cell phone users are constantly looking for ways to add ringtones and songs to their cellular devices, Motorola offers an easy way to add MP3s to the Motorola RAZR. Using Motorola Phone Tools, you can transfer any song from your computer to your RAZR in just minutes. These MP3s can be used as ringtones, played as songs or stored to your cell phone's memory. Motorola Phone Tools comes with a number of cell phone plans, or it can be purchased from Motorola directly.
Items you will need
- Motorola USB cable
Step 1
Connect your Motorola RAZR to your computer using the Motorola USB cable. Allow the Motorola Phone Tools program to load automatically onto your desktop.
Step 2
Select "Audio Files" under the "Transfer" menu on the program's home page.
Step 3
Use the drop-down menu in the "My Computer" menu to select an MP3 from your computer's library to add to your device. Use the "Ctrl" key to select more than one song.
Step 4
Select the folder under "Mobile Phone" where you would like to add the MP3 files.
Step 5
Click "Transfer to Phone" in the center of the screen, and allow a few seconds for the MP3s to load onto your device. You can then disconnect your RAZR to access the new files.
