Enable Java on your Internet connection.

Enable Java on your Internet connection.

Java is an application you can use on your Internet browser to ensure videos and graphics play properly. You can use Java in any web browser, including a browser that features a hidden-IP feature. This feature, typically purchased from a 3rd party, changes your IP address every time you log onto the web. This keeps websites from knowing your personal information such as location and web browser type.

Step 1

Launch the Internet browser you use with the Hidden-IP feature.

Step 2

Select the "Tools" tab at the top of the screen, followed by "Internet Options." This opens a small Internet Options window in the middle of the screen.

Step 3

Click "Advanced," then scroll down to the "Java" tab. Check the box next to the Java option.

Step 4

Choose "Security," followed by "Custom Level" and finally "Scripting of Java applets." Enable the radio button and click "OK." This turns on the Java feature for the Hidden-IP browser.
