How to Get Web Pages to Fit the Screen on My PSP
by Travis Larson, Demand MediaUsing Sony PSP's Web browser allows you to quickly check the Internet while away from your computer. But the PSP's small screen size makes browsing the Internet difficult. By default, Web pages are displayed in their original size, and you must scroll horizontally to view the content. Change this setting and force Web pages to fit the size of the screen. This eliminates horizontal scrolling, but it may create formatting issues.
Step 1
Highlight "Network" on the PSP menu, then highlight "Internet Browser" and press the "X" button.
Step 2
Press the "Triangle" button. This opens the browser's menu.
Step 3
Highlight "View" on the menu, then highlight "Display Mode" and press the "X" button.
Step 4
Highlight "Just-Fit" or "Smart-Fit" and press the "X" button. Both options adjust the page width to fit the screen. "Smart-Fit" may also rearrange content on the screen and reduce text size.
Tips
- A display mode that works well for one Web page may not work well with another Web page. Try different modes to find the best results.
- Click "Tools" on the browser's menu to change other browser settings.
