How to Post Form Answers on a Web Page
by Brandy Alexander, Demand Media
If you gather information from forms, you may want to post these answers on a web page. Perhaps you have marketing research you want to share. Maybe you are a teacher and need to provide a resource for your students. Possibly you run an online business and want to provide a frequently asked questions (FAQ) page for your customers. No matter the need, you can use HyperText Markup Language (HTML) to post your form answers on a web page and distribute this, as you prefer.
Items you will need
- HTML text editor
- Web host (optional)
Step 1
Launch an HTML text editor, create a new page and place your cursor underneath the "
" tag.Step 2
Type in "
" tags and enter the name of your form, along with the "Answers" term, in between these elements. This heading tag makes your title bold and displays a larger font than the rest of the page. For example:Example Form Answers
Step 3
Enter "
" elements and type in your form questions between these tags. This level of heading creates a smaller, bold display to give viewers a method of distinguishing the question from the answer. For instance:What is my first question?
Step 4
Type in "
" tags and enter the associated form answer to the question in step three in between these elements. This paragraph tag automatically spaces the text between entries, but if you prefer more space, enter a "" tag after the last word in your answer. Continue to repeat step three and this step to accommodate the form answers you want to include.
Step 5
Save your file and use your text editor's "Preview" feature to see the resulting page. Place your document on a web host if you want to publish the page to the Internet.
