Ebay Powe Ssellers are professional and reliable.

Ebay simplifies the process of buying and selling online through auction or outright sale. The best eBay sellers receive PowerSeller status. PowerSellers maintain a record of excellence in providing customer service and quality products in high volumes. Benefits of being a PowerSeller include fee discounts, templates and other seller tools. Silver, Gold, Platinum or Titanium PowerSellers exceed the minimum requirements by meeting higher sales and volumes.

Items you will need

  • Computer with Internet access

Step 1

Choose a niche for your eBay business that will provide a continual source of products. Sell actively on eBay for more than 90 days. Minimum sales volume with U.S. buyers over the past 12 months is $3,000 in sales and 100 transactions. Ebay has five levels of PowerSellers. Requirements rise for higher levels; sellers who reach these higher levels receive higher levels of customer support.

Step 2

Provide excellent customer service to maintain your feedback rating. You must have a minimum of 100 feedback ratings and maintain at least 98 percent positive feedback for the past 12 months. Accurately describing items, shipping promptly and communicating well with your buyers will increase smooth transactions and positive feedback ratings. Provide customer support through email, chat and phone.

Step 3

Familiarize yourself with eBay policies and do not exceed four violations in 90 days.

Step 4

Pay all fees on time. PowerSeller accounts must not be past due.

Tips

  • Check to see how close you are to PowerSeller status by logging into your eBay account and going to your seller dashboard.
  • Ebay performs PowerSeller evaluations monthly.
