How to Use the Motorola Q Alarm
by Matt Skaggs, Demand Media
Your Motorola Q can keep you on time with its alarm clock feature.
The Motorola Q became available in 2006, and it had a respectable offering of features and hardware. One of its key selling points was its thin design, which made it easy to carry around in a pocket or cell phone case. It had some bells and whistles, but it also had all the basic applications covered, like a calculator, media player, and alarm clock. When setting the alarm clock on your Motorola Q, you can select the alarm tone you prefer.
Setting the Alarm
Step 1
Press the "Home" button if you're not already there. The "Home" button has an image of a house on it and is just to the left of the large navigation key.
Step 2
Press the left soft key, which is just below and to the left of the display, to open the "Start" menu.
Step 3
Select "Settings," then "Clock & Alarm," then "Alarm" to bring up the alarm utility.
Step 4
Type in the time you want the alarm for using the number keys on your phone and using the navigation key to move from hours to minutes. You can change between "AM" and "PM" by selecting that option and pressing any number key.
Step 5
Press the down directional key down to reach the on and off settings for the alarm. Press right or left to select whether you want the alarm currently turned on or off.
Step 6
Press the left soft key to select "Done" and save the alarm.
