How to Use the Phone and Web on a Verizon Chocolate

by Chad Buleen, Demand Media

The Verizon Chocolate is a small slide-out phone that is capable of performing a number of different functions, including making phone calls and connecting to the Web. The Verizon Chocolate is a forerunner to some of the smart phones of today; therefore, its ability to browse the Web is limited by the mobile Web sections the phone includes. When you open the Web on the phone, you can choose between "News, "Email," "Sports," "Entertainment," and "Shopping" menus. You must first subscribe to Verizon's phone and Web services before you can successfully use the phone or Web functions on the Chocolate phone.

Use the Web

Step 1

Locate the circular Center Navigation Key in the middle of the phone.

Step 2

Tap the top part of the Center Navigation Key.

Step 3

Wait a few seconds. The Mobile Web then launches.

Use the Phone

Step 1

Slide the phone up to reveal the keypad.

Step 2

Use the number pad to enter the phone number you want to call.

Step 3

Tap the "Call" button on the left of the front screen. The phone will now begin to call the number you dialed.
